Theo and her daughter, Kahlia, had a wonderful, whirlwind trip to England this month, to attend the The London Magazine's prize-awarding event at the House of Commons. The story is now readable in the magazine's April/May issue online, and print copies can be ordered as well.

The London Magazine!
Lovely and stunning news! Theo's short story, "Solitaire," has placed first in The London Magazine's 2017 Short Story Competition! A prize-awarding ceremony will be held in March at the House of Commons, and the story will be published in the magazine's April/May issue. So honoured!

Theo's short story, "Hyperosmia," has been accepted for the July issue of Santa Fe Writers Project. Summer is coming!
Salt Hill Journal
Theo's memoir/essay, "Juicy Fruit," about coping with of power-imbalanced sexual contact will appear in the next issue of Salt Hill Journal. Coming in February!

Guest editorship at Driftwood Press
Theo was delighted to be offered a position as guest editor for the upcoming issue of Driftwood Press and looks forward to reading lots of brilliant new stories!
Legacy Tribute at URI
Theo will be offering a tribute for the late Dan Pearlman at a special event at this year's Ocean State Summer Writer's Conference at the University of Rhode Island. The program honors URI Creative Writing Faculty in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and cross-genre prose, Paul Petrie, Nancy Potter, Dan Pearlman, and Robert Leuci. It is titled "Inspired Pedagogy, Literary Influence, and the Writing Life" and features authors Mary Cappello, Christina Pugh, and Mike Lennon, in addition to Theo. The event takes place on Thursday, June 23, at 4:30 pm at Green Hall, and is free and open to the public.
